Mellon confirms Tollitt’s 15 week absence

Tranmere boss Micky Mellon has revealed that winger Ben Tollitt will miss at least 15 weeks of action after fracturing his knee cap against Leyton Orient on Wednesday.

The young winger made his long-awaited comeback from injury in Wednesday night’s match against Leyton Orient, but limped off after 40 minutes.

Having made an incredibly bright start to the game, it was a huge blow to Rovers who must now continue to be without one of their key players for the next four months.

We wish Ben a speedy and complete recovery.
