Tranmere striker Cole Stockton has joined National League side Wrexham on loan until the end-of-the-season.
Stockton, 24, came through the youth ranks at Prenton Park before leaving the club to join Hearts on a free transfer during the summer of 2017. After just 12 months away, he re-joined Rovers on a free transfer in August last year.
However, after less than six months back with Tranmere, Stockton has today headed out to join Wrexham where he will join fellow TRFC man Ben Tollitt. Stockton has scored just two goals since his return and has once again had a strained relationship with a minority of Tranmere fans.
His loan spell will take him up to the end of his contract meaning we may have seen the last of him in a Tranmere shirt.
We wish him all the very best during his loan spell.
