The 2017/18 season is expected to be a pivotal one for defender Evan Gumbs. The strong defender, who can play right-back or centre back, has been with Rovers for many years as he progressed through the youth team.
He made his debut all the way back in November 2014 away to Luton Town, but has had to be patient for other sporadic first team opportunities, limited through injury and the form of an experienced backline.
Having spent no fewer than five spells away from the club on-loan, he will be desperate to break in to the first team during the current campaign.
