Jack Dunn joined Rovers on a free transfer from Liverpool in July 2017. He had spent the end of the 2016/17 season on loan at Prenton Park but saw that spell hampered by injury. Fans caught a glimpse of some early promise from Dunn in his first few matches with the club, especially when paired with Ben Tollitt playing on the opposite wing.

Dunn spent much of his loan spell on the side lines, but did return to fitness in time to come off the bench in the play-off final defeat to Forest Green at Wembley in May 2017.

At home playing on the wing, Dunn looks most comfortable playing wide on the right with the ability to cut inside and shoot on his stronger left foot. He has also been used briefly in a central role from the substitute’s bench, playing in behind the front two.

The LFC Academy graduate signed a one-year deal with Tranmere upon his release from Liverpool.
