A Trip To The Moon podcast is back this week with another fascinating episode, this time talking with former midfielder Steven Jennings.
Jennings came though the youth ranks at Prenton Park before becoming a key member of the first team squad. Despite leaving to join Motherwell, Jennings would twice return to the club and would play in League One, Two and the National League for Tranmere.
For the first time, Jennings has spoken in detail about the many hardships he faced at Rovers down the years, including agreeing to play for free for several months at Prenton Park and his anguish at seeing the club go through back-to-back relegations.
It’s a great interview and is refreshingly honest and insightful.
