We’re a little light on the ground with information on potential incoming player news, but we can bring you updates on two outgoing players.
As reported last week, winger Ben Tollitt has a number of interested parties following his departure. Despite hopes from Wrexham fans that he would go to the Racecourse, a Football League stay looks much more likely.
We can now reveal that two clubs who are interested are League One Blackpool and League Two Salford City. There may be more as well – it seems Ben’s early promise and superb form at Wrexham on loan have put him well and truly back in the shop window.
Cole Stockton is now likely to return to League Two with Morecambe, a club he has played for successfully during a previous loan spell. We understand he has several options on the table, primarily in the National League. However, Morecambe boss Jim Bentley is a long-time admirer of the player.
Also, congratulations to young goalkeeper Paddy Wharton. He left Rovers this week too but has joined FC United of Manchester on a free transfer.
