Centre forward Andy Cook joined Tranmere from Barrow in the summer of 2016 and soon became a fan’s favourite as the goals started to flow consistently. The physical striker lost his place in the team toward the end of the 2016/17 season, with manager Micky Mellon suggesting it was down to fitness.
Despite rumours that Cook would leave in the 2017 summer transfer window, it was a lean-looking player that started the season at Prenton Park and was soon on the goal trail once again.
As he continues to battle for a regular starting position at Rovers, speculation continues to suggest his future may lay away from Prenton Park.
