Another product of Rovers’ highly-regarded youth system, Drysdale is a promising centre back who made his first team debut in a 1-0 win at Maidstone in April 2017. Cool on the ball, his performance for Tranmere’s youth teams have attracted interest from elsewhere.
In September 2017, it was reported that Drysdale had trained with Championship clubs Fulham and Birmingham City ahead of proposed moves. He turned down a first professional contract with Tranmere in the summer of 2017, meaning he remains on a youth deal.
