Podcast | Former Sheffield United and QPR man Georges Santos on his time at TRFC

By

In the latest instalment of A Trip To The Moon podcast, Matt and Rich caught up with the hugely popular Georges Santos.

The big Frenchman had a successful career in English football having arrived at Tranmere on trial in 1998. Following a strong first season, things tailed off in the second and he went on to join WBA. He would later play for the likes of QPR and Sheffield United.

In this episode, Georges talks about his fondness of Tranmere and his memories of his first Tranmere Christmas party! He also touches on his return on trial at the back-end of his career and the coming together with Paul Dickov during a pre-season game while he was on that very first trial with Rovers back in 1998.

He also talks his involvement in the infamous Battle of Bramall Lane while at Sheffield United and tells us what he’s doing now.

It’s a great listen.
