Tickets for Tranmere’s pre-season friendly against beaten UEFA Champions League finalists Liverpool go on sale today, and here’s how you can get them.
The match, which takes place on Wednesday 11th July, will see Liverpool fans given both the Cowsheds and Kop stands at Prenton Park. However, it’s a game that many Tranmere fans avoid and so expect all stands to have a fair few LFC fans in. Officially, Tranmere fans are in the Main Stand, Paddocks and Johnny King Stand.
Tickets are available now online at trfctickets.co.uk, or in-person by visiting the club shop. Price are as follows:

It’s a game that will see a mixed squad from Liverpool with many first teamers competing in the World Cup so unavailable for this one. However, the likes of Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum and Milner will likely feature, alongside new signings Naby Keita and Fabinho.
For Rovers fans who do attend, it will be a first Prenton Park outing of the summer and so a chance to see our own new players. Mark Ellis and Ollie Banks should feature, while the bulk of the squad that won promotion remains in-tact and tied down to contracts. Hopefully, there will be some more new faces before July.
The Liverpool game is Tranmere’s second of pre-season; they’re away to Dunfermline in Scotland on the previous Saturday (7th July). Click to see the full Tranmere pre-season friendly fixture list.
