Tranmere Rovers loan duo Sid Nelson and Kieron Morris have been released by their parent clubs Millwall and Walsall respectively.
Central defender Nelson, 23, has been with Millwall through the youth ranks before signing professional terms with The Lions in 2014 and making 38 appearances for the men from The New Den.
He has been at Prenton Park since the end of January and has come into the side recently in the absence of Mark Ellis through injury, including featuring in both play-off semi-final games against Forest Green Rovers which have taken Rovers to a final against Newport County at Wembley later this month.
Nelson has impressed when called upon and his performances in recent weeks suggest that he is in pole position for a starting berth at Wembley, and then after that, it will be interesting to see if he turns an initial short-term loan into a permanent transfer to Prenton Park.
Winger Morris, 24, came through the youth ranks with Walsall, turned professional with the club and has made 170 appearances for The Saddlers.
He joined Tranmere on loan until the end of the season at the end of January and has played 16 times for Rovers, scoring one goal in the process against Stevenage.
Like Nelson, he has been impressive and featured in both of the semi-final legs of the play-offs, so looks likely to start at Wembley in the final.
Fellow loanee Ben Pringle is also on the available list after his release by Preston North End earlier this month. It will be interesting to see if Rovers boss Micky Mellon will seek to keep the trio at the club at the end of the campaign.
