Any chances of Tranmere signing Stephen O’Leary on a permanent deal in the summer have been dashed after the young midfielder penned a new one year deal at Luton Town.
O’Leary scored three times in 22 games for Rovers in two loan spells at the club this season. Former Tranmere manager Brian Little had said he would be interested in signing him permanently but had also admitted the player would stay with Luton if the opportunity arose.
Dino Seremet’s future at Kenilworth Road is less certain as he is still to sign a new deal with The Hatters.
