Tranmere have made their first signing of the summer, bringing in Macclesfield Town midfielder Ollie Norburn on a free transfer.
Norburn, a former Chelsea Academy player, signs a two-year contract at Prenton Park after an impressive year with the Silkmen. He was on target for Macc at Prenton Park in the FA Trophy set-final second leg, costing Rovers a place in the final.
Norburn is the first new face at the club this summer as Micky Mellon looks to build a squad capable of mounting another promotion challenge next season.
Midfield was an area that many fans felt Rovers lacked options last season, so the addition of Norburn, an energetic and goalscoring midfielder, will lift belief ahead of pre-season training.
Defender Michael Ihiekwe, meanwhile, has joined Rotherham United.
