Tranmere’s solid start to the League Two campaign continued at Prenton Park yesterday when they were held to a 1-1 by Colchester United.
James Norwood was again on the scoresheet as he gave Rovers a first half lead, that coming after he had a goal harshly ruled out for offside.
Colchester hit back after the break and dominated the second half, taking a point after Harry Pell looped the ball in to the back of the net after a mistake by Scott Davies.
