Striker Ishmael Miller has signed a new contract to remain at Tranmere Rovers until January 2020.
The 32-year-old originally arrived at Prenton Park in January after release by Oldham Athletic.
A goal at Cheltenham ensured that the former Manchester City man got off to the perfect start on his debut, but sadly, he picked up an injury in his next outing which would end his season prematurely.
Back to full fitness, Miller has penned a six-month deal and joined the rest of the Rovers squad for day one of pre-season training at Solar Campus.
Elsewhere, York City have completed the signing of former Tranmere captain Steve McNulty.
The 35-year-old central defender, who skippered Tranmere to play-off final triumph back in May, joins the National League North club on a one-year contract.
Meanwhile, Tranmere have confirmed the departures of Jay Harris, Adam Buxton, Zoumana Bakayogo and Chris Dagnall.
The quartet were all out of contract this summer, and we thank them for their efforts in a white shirt and wish them well for the future.
