Tranmere’s FA Cup Third Round tie at home to Tottenham Hotspur next Friday is now a complete sell out.
The remaining tickets, of which there were around 3,000, went on general sale this morning (27thDecember) and were sold out by midday. It’s believed that the Spurs end (Cowsheds) is also sold out.
Capacity at Prenton Park for this game is going to be significantly less than the circa 16,400 seats the ground had when re-opened in the 1990s. Owing to broken or removed seats and Tranmere’s decision to make seating unreserved, it’s expected the crowd will be just under 14,000.
Supporters are encouraged to arrive at the ground early while it’s understood that the Fan Park will be open from 4pm and extended to cover more of the car park.
More build-up to the game will follow in the coming week.
