Aston Villa attacker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy joins on loan

Tranmere Rovers have completed a season-long loan deal to bring Aston Villa youngster Rushian Hepburn-Murphy to Prenton Park.

The 20-year-old has come through the Academy ranks at Villa Park and has some first-team experience with the Birmingham club.

Hepburn-Murphy made two brief substitute appearances in the Premier League for his parent club before turning out a further 11 times in claret and blue in the Championship.

The young forward had a loan spell in League Two with Cambridge United last season, including the game against Rovers at the Abbey Stadium back in February, and is available for selection for Tranmere’s opening game of the League One season tomorrow against Rochdale.
