Tranmere 2-0 Dagenham & Redbridge

Report

An outstanding first half performance by Tranmere put Dagenham to the sword at Prenton Park.

James Norwood opened the scoring after just four minutes, holding off three defenders before firing home left-footed from a right angle.

Ollie Norburn superbly volleyed home Liam Ridehalgh’s right wing corner at the back post.

The only negative were injuries for Mitch Duggan and Jeff Hughes.
