Tranmere will face Ebbsfleet United at Prenton Park in the National League play-off semi-final. In the new play-off format, it’s a one-off home game for Rovers with the opportunity to book a place at Wembley in the final for the second year running.
Early team news:
Rovers will be without Connor Jennings following his recent illness that left him in hospital. Ben Tollitt will also miss out, although there are hopes that Adam Buxton will be fit. Ollie Norburn and Andy Cook should also play despite picking up knocks in last Saturday’s game against Hartlepool at Prenton Park.
Ebbsfleet came through a gruelling elimination match at Aldershot on Wednesday night, eventually winning on penalties after the game finished 0-0 on 90 minutes and 1-1 after extra time.
